Guest guest
We are close. Who did Cameron's myotomy? Leigh had hers at Ucsf. Knowing what we know now, I don't think we would have gone that route again. Although, the myotomy was working until her ectomy. Nerve damage is what was disabling our girl. She is doing ok, not great. Food gets stuck in the bypass, and she still has post surgical discomfort. But not the chronic spasms. She is in college here in shasta, still living at home. She has a lot of growing up to do before I let go of her. Achalasia took a lot of her growing up years, although she is 18, she is closer to 16 developmentally and emotionally. On the other hand, she has the attitude that kids get when they have dealt with way too many doctors and hospitals, a weariness that is always there. She is our fragile flower.
