Guest guest Posted January 4, 2012 Report Share Posted January 4, 2012 I saw the doctor today and he referred me to a surgeon in Portland Maine who does the myotomy. They are going to fax my records down and contact me with an appointment for the consult. The only thing my doctor feels might need to be redone prior to surgery is the mannometry. I really hope not as I didn't do very well with it the last time. The technician couldn't get the probe into the LES so the results were considered inconclusive. I do have the option of botox if needed to get me by before surgery. Hopefully it won't be needed. It is wonderful to hear the positive stories of others who have recently had myotomies done.
