Guest guest Posted May 14, 2012 Report Share Posted May 14, 2012 It will be four weeks Wednesday since my HM. I went to my postop visit with my surgeon Dr. Steve Bowers at Mayo in ville Fl. He said I am doing great and I can return to work tomorrow. I still have to be on light duty until July 15th. He found a hernia under my stomach pushing it into the esophogus at the surgery so I still have to take it easy. I am to graudually incease my eating but mostly soft foods. I do not have to go back to the GI for another year and every three years I will have to have a endoscopy done. Good luck to everyone.
