Guest guest
Hi, Suzanne! Welcome! I never slept on extra pillows -- though maybe I should have, lol! I'd just regurge all night -- but it didn't wake me, and I wasn't coughing. Made a mess out of the pillowcases/sheets though. Since the Heller two days after Christmas: NO night time regurging! Clean sheets/pillowcases. Won-der-full!! Not a doc, but all things being equal, seems likely you won't have to. Or maybe just *less* elevated. . . . Good luck -- sounds like you're in good hands. in West Virginia > > First of all thank you for letting me join your group. I am 53 years old. I am new to Achalasia. I only have noticed the symptons for about a year ago. I just found out two month ago that I have Achalasia. I am having the surgery on April 18 2012. Does anyone know if after the surgery if I will I be able to sleep with out sitting up? >
