Update on Devyn's dilation

Hello all-

Thought u would update you all on my son since you were so helpful! 2 days ago

Devyn had an endoscopy with biopsy and dilation. The endoscopy showed a lot of

spots in his esophagus where his stomach acid has burned through and are small

ulcers. He takes 20mg if prevacid twice a day but it looks like it has stopped

working. The doctor looked at me like he didn't believe he takes it twice a day

but I give it to him and watch him take it! So he changed his meds to 40mg of

nexium once a day. We have to go back in 3 months for another endoscopy and if

he still has ulcers they will have to go back in and redo the dor

fundoplication. I also have to call next week for biopsy results. I have my

fingers crossed

Thank you all for your suggestions, thoughts, and concerns! It is always

appreciated. I don't know what I would do without this group!
