First of all thank you for letting me join your group. I am 53 years old. I am

new to Achalasia. I only have noticed the symptons for about a year ago. I

just found out two month ago that I have Achalasia. I am having the surgery on

April 18 2012. Does anyone know if after the surgery if I will I be able to

sleep with out sitting up?
