Guest guest
, you did a wonderful job under VERY difficult circumstances. I never thought I would hear the day that Oprah mentioned vaccines and autism in the same sentence. I think this was a Victory. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised by the show. On a personal note, I thought the segment regarding siblings was wonderful. I have a NT daughter and I worry as much about her as I do my very affected son. A dream come true would be to have Kirby on Oprah. Pamela " Courage is doing what you're afraid to do. There can be no courage unless you're scared. I think you were strong, got your point across, and maintained dignity which will reach alot of people!!! Guest guest
Thank you !!!!... For speaking out, maybe some parents were listening and will not allow their child to be injured by vaccines and will not have to go though what we are going though. That is one (of many) things that drives me crazy is that there are children not yet vaccine injured, so we must educate their parents, that is why I sometimes stop pregnant women in Wal-Mart. Maybe some more parents will now seek treatment for there injured child. Thank you!

Guest guest
Hi , My daughter has had neutropenia as well. The lowest her ANC has been is 800. But, they have also been as high as 5.6! When we first started on this journey that is what they found...Neutropenia, immune deficiencies and an inability to make antibodies to her pneumonoccocal vaccines. Her immune issues have cleared up. They said they would be the time she was 2 and they did. She still gets neutropenia and no one has given me a solid answer as to why this happens...they did rule out cyclic neutropenia however. The twice weekly blood work is not pleasant...if you're doctor hasn't given you EMLA cream yet, I would suggest asking for it. It numbs the arm so at least it doesn't hurt them. MC would still cry but after 6 weeks of bw she figured out what was going on. Good luck and hang in there. Micah Mom to (2 1/2) PFS

Guest guest
Wow- I am truly touched by the responses I received from simply requesting some prayers from you guys. I think of how my life is now compared to before I found this forum and there is truly no comparison. Not only have I gained the confidence I so badly needed to fight these things but I have new, effective ways to fight them and I think the best thing about this group is the support and fellowship that takes place between us because we seem to be the ONLY people on this planet who can really understand what it is to deal with this pestilence. I AM making plans to see my family now and am trying to think of a way to tell them that I have something that no one understands or even cares to do anything about. The reason I haven't told them is because they care about me so much that I thought it would just worry them sick if I told them that I had this and couldn't get rid of it so I just told them that I had a tremendous workload that was keeping me away. You are right though, I have to finally tell them the truth and let the cards fall where they may. (this sucks!) You guys have no idea how much you mean to me............... Thank you again for your sage advice and heartfelt responses- esp. at this time of the year.... Per Fritolay's response I am lighting candles for each and every one of you and your families this evening and will step up my prayer regimen for all of you as well. I am just worried sick that once I tell them, they will be worried sick... It was one thing when I was telling them that I couldn't be there because of work but this is going to shock them I know, especially when they start looking in to this (which they undoubtedly will) and find out what everyone in this group already knows- THIS SUCKS! Thank you for your support Melinda, it's sunset here and i just lit candles for everyone in this group and their families- you and yours incl. Guest guest
SOM- you have a lot more people that care for you in addition to your parents. I understand your point about not wanting your parents worry too much. I am in the same position. I told my parents and then it was very frustrating trying to explain them why it is that Doctors can't really help. They just don't get it and start getting frustrated as well with the usual million questions: Did you try the Health Dept, doctors, dermatologist, and so on.. After a couple of weeks when they follow up and you tell them you still have the problem they become more worried than before. It's understandable for them to worry and feel frustrated the same way you do and there is not much you can tell them to calm them down, except that you are feeling better. Anyway that's what I did and I wish now to they were not so worried about me. So if I were in your shoes, I would try something like this: I would tell them over the phone at first that I cannot spend the night because I have some sort of parasite on my skin that is mildly contagious but there is nothing to worry about me. That to be on the safe side, I prefer not to become in close contact with them and that the doctors are working in getting this thing resolved. I would try to avoid going to much into the details of what I've been through because I don't want them to worry too much. If they keep asking questions I would try to shift the conversation to another more interesting topic to better use the little time we have available. I would try to reassure them that I'm fine and just trying to protect them to be on the safe side. I wouldn't even give them the name of the parasite not to have them start investigating. Depending on your parents, this might be difficult to achieve but at least that's what I would try if I had another chance of doing this. Anyway, that's my unsolicited advise. I hope it helps a little when making up your mind. It takes a lot of courage to do that and not seek protection from your loved ones because you don't want to worry them. Best of luck and God bless you and your family. Happy Holidays- MM > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > How did it work for you? > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > --------------------------------- > > > > > > > > > > > Never miss a thing. Guest guest
Thanks for the nice complement, Patrice! I'm really glad you joined Sheri's class, you won't be disappointed. I think it should be MANDATORY for every parent in the free world to take at least the first class on vaccines. It has so much good information, and it's so important for every parent to know exactly what is being pushed on their children and HOW the brainwashing is taking place. Sheri: I mean that, and THANK YOU for putting together such a comprehensive course. I may not give feedback during class, but I am reading everything you send, then re-reading it later and making my hubby read it too! I do plan to take the other two classes, the homeopathy class is next! I am also going to send my mom the information as she is a nurse and can use the CE's as well as the knowledge. Guest guest
You can print the T & A study from the group site. Go to the main page and near the upper left there is a box that has HOME, MESSAGES, POST, FILES. Go into FILES and then go down to paper 2008 Licameli.pdf and you can print it to take with you. Also if you search the messages for Washington Post there was an article about this. I hope this helps you an your son. I am not sure when the rages came, you can post a message with the subject something like 'rages on prednisone?' and see if anyone can help you with more info on that. Best of Luck and keep us posted on your son's progress.
