What to expect aAFTER an HM re spasms and indigestion

Am new to this, and am thrilled to read all the interesting posts.

Had a HM and partial fundoplication April 9 for Achalasia after three years of

misdiagnosis for GERD. Still unsure of what to expect re post surgery symptoms

at almost 3 weeks after the surgery. Am still having occasional spasms and

nightime indigestion pains. Is this part of the healing process for the

operation, and all normal due to internal swelling? Am on the mushy diet for

another three weeks. Do the spasms and pain eventually " go away " or are these

symptoms that are normal even " after " the operation? I live in Los Angeles, if
