Guest guest
Hi, What a process! Had a Hellers Myotomy and partial funopilcation two weeks ago. Felt fine except for a couple chest spasms, and of course, " after " the follow up visit with the doctor Thursday, suddenly pain increased. Am having the same pains in the upper abdomen between the ribs (stomach?), like sharp gas pains, and water makes the pain worse. The suture where the camera was inserted is also weird, very hard under the skin, tight with a flap of skin/fat overhanging the actual suture, and hurts to the touch. The doctor wasn't concerned, said time will heal, but only tylenol keeps down the pain. Nights seem to be the worst, waking every couple hours from the suture pain. Can anyone who has been through this offer insight as to the process of healing and " what to expect " ...? I'm a 64 year odl female, 94 pounds, trying sooo hard to eat small meals and add pounds. Feel great, am walking, swimming, driving, but am concerned that the stomach pain seems to be like it was pre the operation. Could dairy in the diet be causing the pain? Help!
