Guest guest
Hello everyone. My son had his second heller on yesterday, his first one was in 2007. This time the surgeon did not do the wrap because he feels that it caused some blockage so we will have to see how it goes. I want to stay very hopeful that this time works and no more dilations if possible. Its difficult to expalin to a 16 year old boy who loves to eat like most boys his age that he is different and he can NOT be normal. The surgery was 3 hours long and he had a somewhat of a peaceful nights rest, he is in sereve pain but its managed with an epuidural plus pain medicine in the IV. He will be up today walking to wake up his systems again and tomorrow he will be able to drink. Thank you for reading and listening, Monicqua, mother of Sullivan ( achalasia teen)
