Guest guest
Welcome to the group Pete , I am the medical researcher for this group . I haven't heard anyone speak of having pancreatitis here , but I do know a few that have it . They are just not in this support site . Each of the ones I know that do have it have successfully treated and archived a sustained biological response and remain clear of the virus to this day . If there is any information you would like don't hesitate to ask . Our site is run by people that are in the medical field or were in the past like me , and the members here are very knowledgeable when it comes to hepatitis c . Once again I would like to welcome you to Hepatitis C Central . hi all Hi,I'm Pete..51 y/o living in north central Florida.Been dx since May '04.Dx chronic pancreatitis also.Kidney disease, also.Just wanted to say hi and introduce myself.I'm not doing any treatments, mainly because they told me it would be difficult with having CP.I'm genotype 1b...last viral load was 2,000,000.Anyone here have pancreatitis, too?Pete

Guest guest
Oh that sounds delightful, I love the beach, and mountains I have here. But I would dearly love a beach (scratches head and wonders if I dinamite Texas out of the way I could have a big beach. LOL). Daily massages you lucky woman. Funny, I read it the same way the first time too! Maybe there's a secret message hidden in here that we need to get massages. Can't hurt, and may help you feel better. Guest guest
Hee Hee she did say messages. Wishful thinking on my part huh?? I am so silly. Not really, he is too rough when he gives a massage. I feel like he is tearing muscles. My Brei-monster give great massages but they only last about 2 minutes. Maybe I will dangle a Dr. Pepper in front of her nose and she will massage for longer. Guest guest
Welcome back Kris - I remember you. You can do it! Kathy Hi All I don't know if anyone remembers me! I stopped participating at some point at the beginning of last year because of school/writing my thesis. I'm finished with school (actual graduation in a couple months) And am back on the fitness bandwagon. I tried unsuccessfully to stick to several workout/health plans last year but my schedule was wonky and I couldn't bring myself to stick with anything . Not to mention i wanted to eat everything in sight. Miraculously i only gained 2 lbs. I'm fully committed again and spoke to Jen last night who pointed me back to the group. I thought i'd unsubbed due to an annoying worm but i didn't. Anyhoos long story short i'm back! Reading through the messages i really love the warm, helpful vibe - i feel like i'm home!I'm in on the valentine's day love yourself day so i'm going to make sure i work out either at the gym or home with a dvd and do some home beauty treatments and meditation. Thanks for the idea Its a brilliant one!Great to be backGiant hugs to EVERYBODY!Kris. My artwork available on cute items @http://www.cafepress.com/webgrl __________________________________________________

Guest guest
Hi Kris! I'm new since you were last a regular here so I'll say both "welcome back" and introduce myself! I'm , just turned 40 last month (and still getting used to typing that). I've been working out regularly for going on 6 weeks now but worked out off and on for months with this group before getting more committed to fitness and years before that. I'm married with 2 little people (DD 5 and DS 8.5) and am starting back to work this week for the first since my son was born, just extremely part time, starting training on Tuesday as a Weight Watcher receptionist and hoping to become a meetings leader in a few months. Glad to hear you feel so comfortable again already, I know it didn't take me long at all to feel at home here too! I love your ideas for our Valentine's Day "challenge" that JEN started!!! :-) Glad to hear you're joining and will look forward to hearing about your workouts too! Congratulations too on finishing your thesis, that is awesome!!! Hi All I don't know if anyone remembers me! Guest guest
Welcome back Kris. Hope you’ve been doing well and get back to working out! I’ve started back up after a month of non-workouts (ie just walking with kids, biking, dancing, etc) and I feel fantastic so far. Amazingly I’m not too much out of shape, but I’m ready to get in great shape – I want to buy a new bathing suit (its been 7+ years since I got a bathing suit, I’m still swimming in my tomato red maternity bathing suit lol) this year and look great in it lol! What are your plans for working out now? Home beauty treatments sound lovely. I’m planning on making a special dinner for the kids and me and baking valentine cookies with them (probably on the 13th because we are extra busy on the 14th) Maybe some crafts and a special workout for me in the evening – hopefully something that makes me sweat lol From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of kris alcs Sent: Sunday, February 04, 2007 6:01 PM Subject: Hi All I don't know if anyone remembers me! I gotta go have a boobsquish! I think they suggest we start em in our 40's? I was dreading it till someone else on here said its just uncomfortable but doesn't hurt too bad. I would just hate popping out a tit in front of a stranger eep! I'm about 15 years away from needing one (i guess) so i'm glad i dont need to worry for 15 years Thanks to whoever said it doesn't hurt that bad:)Kris. from Michigan <volleyjen0416@...> wrote: Hi Kris, I'm glad that you decided to start posting here again, I've missed you! Guest guest
I'll chime in to say it wasn't that bad at all - I think now they recommend that you have an initial screening when you're 35 to obtain a " baseline " that they can compare to when you go for " real " when you turn 40. I believe said her breast cancer was detected through a baseline mammogram - so it is important to get that baseline in!!! So, you may only have 10 years! But, really it doesn't hurt and who knows what can happen in 10 years - if you end up having kids, you won't be shy about popping your boobie out in front of a stranger! LOL! Guest guest
LOL The only time I put on my bathing suit is when I take my rascals swimming. And almost all women no matter what their size wear itsy bitsy teenie bikinis with designer labels to do the same thing. I could never go that far, but a one piece with a bit more fashion that the maternity style would be great. I may be the mother of 3 kids but tomato red is not my color and maternity bathing suits make you look pregnant even if you have no belly (bf bought me this one when we were having our twins and planning a trip to the beach. He thought my bikini was a bit too much for being 6 months pregnant with twins. My twins adored the bikini though because they could wiggle and kick around to the feeling of sun on my belly. LOL) And yes pregnant I looked like a tomato with legs. I could have been doing one of those talking fruit commercials. Great job with the exercise! What are you doing at the gym? Cardio? Weights? A mixture? Is losing weight your goal now? Or just getting fit? Guest guest
ah i never even knew about a baseline mammogram. My boyfriend was lecturing to me tonight about breast self exams. I should look into this. All of a sudden i'm not a teenager anymore (YIKES) i gotta get over the shy thing and be more responsible about my health. Thanks Donna. Gosh...the scariest part about the baby extraction would be baring my netherland to a room full of strangers .EeeeepDonna M-P <donna112520@...> wrote: I'll chime in to say it wasn't that bad at all - Ithink now they recommend that you have an initialscreening when you're 35 to obtain a "baseline" thatthey can compare to when you go for "real" when youturn 40. Guest guest
You hang in there, Josie. You have dealt with a LOT of stuff quickly since your mom died. You're in my prayers.
