Guest guest
Hi , I'm not exactly sure what you want to know. Kombucha is used for many health reasons. Drinking a few ounces after a meal will improve digestion. Drinking it before exercising will increase sweating. Regularly drinking KT will improve your mood. People with arthritis and muscle diseases feel better drinking KT. But one important thing is that one must drink plenty of water. One suggestion I agree with is drinking 5 parts water to one part KT. Hope that helps. There are long lists of the health benefits derived from drinking KT. Guest guest
Short and sweet Without my KT I have trouble getting thru the day. With It I have energy in abundance. KT vinegar keeps my candida in check. Used internally as well as externally there is not one part of my body that has not noted significant improvement since using KT. Pain is lessened, Joints are more flexible Skin is young and vibrant and taut ( Im 65) Fewer wrinkles, Less gray, less hair loss ETC, etc, etc. All effects have been positive, not one negative. zoe > Hi all, > This is john,i need a help from you people.I need few experiments > related to Health using Kombucha. If any of you could send me the > procedures which you have done are doing ,it will be of use to me.Thanks to everyone. > Waiting for your replies. > Thanks, > john > > --------------------------------- > Now you can chat without downloading messenger. Guest guest
Hi Ann and Welcome Back! Sounds like you are back on plan and will be doing great. Please don't get discouraged watching the scale; as so many things are taken into account in our weight loss journeys. Your body will cooperate when ready; in the meantime; eat more often; just smaller amounts of food so you can stay fueled; do daily LL breathing; with or without the exercises; and if you do the exercise dvd's then alternate daily. I'm just like you; when I keep an 'honest' food diary of everything put into my mouth; it is amazing the low calorie count; etc. We need food, healthy food; throughout our day to keep metabolism burning. A very difficult change to make when we are so used to eating so little because we need to lose weight. So relax my friend. You are heading in the right direction and I am proud of you and happy to see you back. Take care, Wanda > > > Hi again everyone....I was here along time ago for about 2 letters and then never responded till now....So much going on.....But I have been breathing for a week in a half hoping to speed up my weight loss that has been stalled for 6 weeks now despite strict dieting...lets say I'm always dieting...I lost 60 pounds in the last 7 years but since the end of may,I was on Isagenix till aug 1st then started Atkins....Lost 8 on Isagenix and 4 in 1month on atkins and the last 6 weeks nothing..which is quite discouraging but not giving up because I like this diet...I added water arobics 2-3 times a week and life lift hoping to speed thing up for the last 3 weeks...life lift going on 2 weeks tho....weight problem started around 7 and the same for my son who is 13. He got my genetics poor guy, and really does not eat much compared to most kids I know...That was my life story, my friend always would lose double what I would and eat more....But I am a very determand person...Maybe my body is saying 12 lb is enough right now for20 weeks..... and I am at my lowest weight in many years...It just gets frustrating.....Ann > > _________________________________________________________________ > Send a smile, make someone laugh, have some fun! Guest guest
Hey Welcome!! I have not read anything specific to vitamin use, but it makes sense to be sensible( hahahha) and take Vitamins what ever what your doctor thinks is helpful for you. One flare I was put on disability. So ..no work as a Cardiac nurse in Manhattan St 's Hospital for 6 weeks starting the end of November. I stayed with my parents who are now deceased in their home in the Berkshires( it was NY just east of Mass. Berkshires) I took vitamins and rested. Never too many as this can be toxic. I think I took Vit C ..like 500 mg 2 times a day. I got better from the rest...sometimes though that Stills thing is like a fire and the waiting game for it to be over is one nasty ride. Drop Kick patients !! even if it is a virtue. Welcome again...I did not see your name is it Kory?? Where are you from?? How is your support system? You just increased it 10 fold by joing this wonderful group! I am from NJ and was diagnosed in 1972. I get fibromyalgia and iritis and all other kinds of fun stuff...luckily I am OK and can function fairly well! I have had remisions last for 9 years. Now I chronically have a lower degree of illness...even mini flares are disruptive. Hugs Liz NJ **************It's Tax Time! Get tips, forms, and advice on AOL Money & Finance. Guest guest
Hi Mark, I've wonder about Vitamins and supplements my self because they all seem so tempting! I asked my RU about Glucosamine or really anything natural I should be taking besides the prescriptions and his response was don't waste your money. Which surprised me because Dr. Tsai seems like a holistic type of doctor, even offers acupuncture in his office (never suggested it to me though). He said Fish Oil and a multi vitamin was ok but cant say it has helped. Mandi FLorida In a message dated 3/15/2008 8:28:15 A.M. Eastern Daylight Time, mellymelt@... writes: Hi Mark, Welcome. Guest guest
I can add to this last particular message Mark...after getting nailed hard with Stills in January of '04 I started to take supplements I thought would " help " out. When I found the Rheumatologist I have now he told me I was wasting my money in a big way, and explained how they can make the claims they do as they have no approvement from the FDA. I was spending money on Osteo-BiFlex and other pretty expensive pills. Now I am on a multivitamin and 1000 units of Vitamin D, Potassium (prescription) & a bunch of other scripts. I'm glad you found the group as you can learn a lot here, make friends here, find out which Dr's to see & such or just kick back if you'd like. My name is Kirk & I'm from NE Pennsylvania (just above Wilkes-Barre)...I'm married w/ 2 boys (9 & 6) & have had Stills (and according to my Dr's more, but they can't figure it all out yet...and I have far too many Dr's, but at least after a while you find Dr's that are not only good, but ones you can get along with) since early 2004, and it has never let up on me. Guest guest
Hi, Thanks for letting me join the group. My son was home schooled. Then last fall he went off to college, and was kicked out 2 weeks before the end of the first semester. The next month he went to a psychologist, who diagnosed him with high functioning Asberger's. I am not sure what to do next. He would like to live at home and take a few college classes at a time. I hope he can enroll somewhere, after the deenrollment at the other one! He had trouble because he trusted all the guys in his dorm, and they were not all good. They really took advantage of his kindness and then turned on him, and treated him bad. I hope this does not happen to anyone of your kids, From: sunrose101@... <sunrose101@...>Subject: Re: Hi allAutism and Aspergers Treatment Date: Saturday, June 7, 2008, 6:32 AM Welcome to you.
