Guest guest
Hi Kathy and welcome back I agree with on the surgery. We can do this - I keep saying it and by golly one of these days I will hit on all cylinders! For me if it's in the house most of the time it's safe because I don't see it - I forget it's here LOL my biggest downfall is the office with all the goodies - finally though it looks like everyone is on a plan and the goodies should disappear! --- Kathy <tiggeriffic4458@...> wrote: > Hi, > I posted a little while back and then got away > from it. Guest guest
Thanks, that is so hard. I remember when I worked in an office it was so hard when people brought stuff in and then at lunch everyone wanted to go to Mcdonalds or other fast food. That is so hard. Guest guest
Kathy, Me too - and most of us here as well I'm sure. I'm mad at myself. We can't let our weight get in the way of living - there's a lot of wonderful qualities that we have and we shouldn't wait until we're the perfect weight to share them. Let you inner you show through --- Kathy <tiggeriffic4458@...> wrote: > Thanks that is a good idea to meditate or at > least try. Guest guest
Actually, I can do lunch out - I've learned to do plain taco at taco bell, a cheeseburger & apple dipper (toss the carmel) at McD's etc. I haven't done the foodmover in awhile (though I can recite with my eyes closed!) I'm just doing 2000 calories a day and I can tell you everyfast food nutritional website! LOL --- Kathy <tiggeriffic4458@...> wrote: > Thanks, that is so hard. Guest guest
Dale, welcome to the group -- I'm dale, also! I'll go by lowercase dale so there won't be confusion. There's some basic tests that need to be checked. First there's finding out his IgG, IgA, IgM, IgE levels. It sounds to me like something there is missing along with having high IgE levels (indicating allergy involvement). Allergies don't cause strep and staph and stuff like that! That's usually an IgG or IgA or IgM deficiency. So.... that's for starters. Secondly, you need to know if he built antibodies to his childhood vaccinations. Now, either your pediatrician will be willing to " humor " you and order these tests, or you need to be looking for a pediatrician who will. It's that simple. I wasted a whole year trying to get Katy's pediatrician to wake up and see things my way. It wasn't until I changed pediatricians that someone finally took Katy's problems seriously. But, I just want you to realize how hard it is emotionally for some people to change pediatricians. I was convinced that someone would think I was " doctor hopping " if I changed or that I would be consider a non-compliant parent if I changed doctors. It took a psychologist telling me to get out of denial and face this problem before I would change doctors. She essentially told me -- either change doctors or your daughter is going to die. Get your daughter help. That got my attention! So, best wishes as you begin to sort this out. In His service, dale >
Guest guest
Dear Helen, Sorry to hear you aren't feeling so great. I am not either as I have another sinus infection and these things on top of my fibro etc are really getting me down--it makes my asthma act up too. I get achy from sitting at the computer too long. Anyway, will be praying for your son and his friend, as I pray for all our guys and gals in Iraq every day. I just wish that we could end this war and leave the Iraqi's to deal with their religious problems themselves. I am not anti-Muslim, but it seems a small percentage of them who are troublemakers get all the bad press. After all we did what we set out to do, get rid of Sadaam and freed the people. They have their own government now that we helped set up, how long do we have to stay and be killed? This is all just my opinion, no flames please! I know it all boils down to oil and I wish we weren't dependent on foreign oil at all. that's not happening but I can still wish. love and hugs to you Helen, I hope I haven't offended you by sharing my views on Iraq. God bless your son and all the troops. I am not anti-troops but am anti-war in general.

Guest guest
Hi Pete, I'm in the Tampabay area and yes I do have issues with pancreatitis due to gall stones. I never heard that pancreatitis would be a reason to not treat, I would ask your doctor for more info and options if the pancreatitis is due to drinking then they may have concerns but to drink with HCV or pancreatitis is a bad path to take. > > > Hi, > I'm Pete..51 y/o living in north central Florida.Been dx since > May '04.Dx chronic pancreatitis also.Kidney disease, also.Just wanted to > say hi and introduce myself. > > I'm not doing any treatments, mainly because they told me it would > be difficult with having CP.I'm genotype 1b...last viral load was > 2,000,000.Anyone here have pancreatitis, too? > > Pete >
