celaic disease

Has anyone tested positive for celaic disease (which causes gluten

intolerance?). Apparently, there are new bloods tests for the disease, as my

aunt (who is an M.D.) is now getting the tests done. She was previously

diagnosed with fibromyalgia, though she's not sure if the diagnosis is

correct. They now think she might have celaic disease, and it is apparently

hereditary. I was under the impression that it was just a food allergy, but

it behaves differently from allergies, and hinders nutrient absorption. I

also just found out that my great-grandmother suffered for years from a

bizarre, debilitating exhaustion that nobody could explain.

Thanks -

Peggy
