Guest guest
Dear readers, With Reference to the issue raised by Dr. Sumit, I would like to give you all this assurance that the annonimous posting of the posting was done because " aidsindiatoday " is a group of Health care proffessionals who want to work in the society with out being known to the people, that way it makes people to understand the concepts very easily and they think its one of their own ideas rather that some thing told to them by some outsider. Secondly as far as Ranbaxy is considered, I again would like to clarify that the only relationship that we have with them is a very professional one. We get most of crosschecking of our positive results form them. Here the issue is not whether Ranbaxy gave a correct report,or AIIMS gave a wrong report, the issue is of policy systems not being in place, issue is that people should be careful as to declaring some body HIV negative, without doing confirmatory testings at appropriate time and with consulting a HIV specialists. This colud be the worst cases it could lead to spread of the Virus to the near & dear ones. As far as the various tests are there all these test are very important and we really dont need to be RAM BHAROSE, However we all must understand that all these tests have their own rloe at a specific time and connot replace eachother at any point in time. It is the HIV specialists who has to decide which tests are to ordered and it is again the HIV specialists who should really interperat the results and their inplications in thier patients. In case if any one wants to know the international guidelines for laboratory proceduers and the implications of the various tests results they can mail us at aidsindiatoday@ Thank you.
