Off from work a total of 18 months....

From start of treatment (non-prescription anticoagulants then rotating

antibiotics): ~ 10 months,

at ~ 6 months I started some work theraphy - doing some volunater work with

a local computer firm for a couple of hours a day

to see how I handle it.... got up to 4 hrs/day and confidence about

being able to work -- then took a few more months

focusing on recovery (physical activities)

----------------------------------

As an interesting FYI: As I wrote a while back, I ordered the other nootropics

(besides Piracetam which I had been taking for ages)

Dragonon (Aniracetam) 750 mg

Neuromet (Oxiracetam) 800 mg

Neupramir ( Pramiracetam) 600 mg

IN ADDITION to my usual piracetam and niacin (which is related)....

When I take them(1 tablet of each) with the others OR by themselves, I am

experiencing a " niacin flush " - that is, they appear to be

inducing an increase in blood flow (remember that I am still high in SFM). I do

not get a niacin flush anymore from

niacin.

I had ordered them in the hope that they would function similar to piracetam

(anticoagulant that used for strokes in europe) but

perhaps on aspects of coagulation that piracetam does not act upon...

Dear Ken,

Yay, team! Congrats on your return to work.

How long had you been away from work? And how long before that working while

sick? (I mean, is there hope for me, too?)

Best,

Adrienne
