If I kept taking it, hot flashes were sure to follow I am sure. I am in my 30's. One question...what do you mean by terrible smelling breath? I have never heard of this type of reaction from immunopro. Whats in the immunopro that would cause that? Thanks, karen

Just say you need to be tested for estrogen levels of the blood and they will know what test to do. If you need to lower your estrogen, immunopro will help I am sure of it. I know of two others on this list who were having estrogen problems because of the pro. Maybe they will speak up and explain as well. But you're saying sweating could be from LOW estrogen, and if that's so, why would it have gone back up? ALso, as far as I know estrogen usually promotes thicker blood, not thinner blood. Did you have night sweats and low estrogen on the immuplus or off of it? I emailed the people at Immunopro and they said that my estrogen is lowering because of the effect Immunopro has on the liver. Immunopro makes the liver recycle faster and that lowers estrogen. Guest guest
or anyone......do you know if estrogen is affected by Immunocal? I could have probably suffered thru all the negative Pro symptoms, but the killer was the sleep problem. I can't explain the breath thing. I was taking just a pinch of ImmunoPro once a day, and by the third day, there was this smell in my breath, like from my lungs.....the closest description of the smell was similar to garlic and onions which I NEVER eat. Does anyone else know about this? Thanks much......................................Laurion

Guest guest
Hi Sorry I wasn't clear. I'm reading it now and confusing myself! I never was tested for estrogen so I don't know if I was low or high. I was having massive night sweats and my doctor said it was probably from the falloff of " artificial " estrogen when you stop the pill every month. She said that was common as you get older (I presume estrogen drops as you get older, so maybe I was low?) And I was on the Immuplus, so I was conjecturing that maybe THAT's why I was low. BUT, the sweats stopped and I didn't stop the Immuplus, so maybe your body gets used to the whey after a while and doesn't lower the estrogen? I wonder if the rest of the people who had this problem had it a long time, or stopped the whey when they got the symptoms and would be able to keep taking it if they kept going. About coagulation... the research shows that estrogen lowers lp(a). And high lp(a) is a risk factor for hypercoagulation. (I have high lp(a)) So that would make me think that estrogen, by lowering lp(a) would cause blood to thin. Where did you hear that estrogen makes blood thicker? Are you sure about that?
