Guest guest
Hi Fluff, thanks a lot for the update. I am trying to figure out for myself what this really means, ways to identify and eliminate or at least subdue the offending pathogens. I guess the HHV6 and mycoplasma testing are part of that. But antivirals at this point dont touch my symptoms. Maybe antibiotics will. Dont know, but I am determined to find out just what all these results popping up mean specifically. WHen you say " contain and minimize " are just referring to lifestyle modifications or are you doing / taking anything specifically to target the pathogens? (i.e. antibiotics, etc..)? Thanks again, blue << Essentially, yes we are fighting an infection or likely many infections actually, for me, it seems like a lot of infections all over the only thing I can do is try to contain and minimize them i walk around and function but the battle never ceases i let down my guard and things get worse real quick Fluff is fine Fluffy > Hi Fluff (can I call you Fluff)? Guest guest
I find I really need to do ALL the BASIC things that nicholson said well, i am doing most of the basic things ... if i leave something out, there is more symptoms it seems these pathogens deplete a lot of resources in the body so many symptoms are just a result of deficiency anti-virals is one of the more difficult areas so concentrate on the other areas although east park olive extract may be the best thing Stuff that keeps me more functional a) Antibiotics minocin ( brand name only " no substitutions allowed " ) ImmunoPro very important ... helps with toxins c) Mag/malic/calcium very, very important ... this is critical to sleep, cramps, body pain ... my body seems to use up this fast ... i can't be lax about this maybe i should throw in potassium d) eye vitamin ( vitamin/mineral) this is my multi-vitamin ... it helps my eye problems ... curiously, eye vitamins contain the basic things that are usually missing actually use a cvs brand .. ocuvite plus or something it has A, C, E, zinc, selenium etc the minerals seem very important e) b-complex f) bromelaine with antibiotic g) east park olive leaf extract to control reflux another possible alternative to antibiotics to try ... i would try this first for a month h) i use to take glucosamine/chondroitin ( avoid the crappy brands ) for costochondritis ... improvement starts within 2 weeks i) exercise even nicholson thinks this is important ... it helps make everything else work better ... creatine monohydrate is great for any weight lifting exercises ... walking ... introduce slowly side affects after about 18 months and after trying another antibiotic with it, i developed hemorrhoid/weak capillaries problem ... i control it with Rutin(may be active component) ... bioflavinoid ... i did fine with minocin alone ... actually, bioflavinoids are another natural antibiotic ... there is the view that if an antibiotic is making you feel bad, it means its working. this may not be the case ... i never had a herxheimer reaction with minocin even though i had the disease 40 years and very sick ... also, i had significant improvement in less than 3 weeks ... how long you try an antibiotic before you know it is not working is a very difficult question ... a bad antibiotic may cause the organisms to grow ... it may require some luck ... no matter what you do, there are risks .... some people go 6 months on an antibiotic without no improvement ... i am dubious of that approach ... maybe give minocin and doxycycline a chance for a short time ... if that doesn't work then go with the Jardin protocol since you get to try many antibiotics but only subject yoruself to 1 week per month of the antibiotics so less brutal on your system ... if you find one that hits the spot, you can always resort to the nicholson protocol ... you may have to take one step back to go forward two steps you should introduce things not too fast especially things not natural to the body ... you need to educate yourself on what supplements will be more absorbable so i contain it with these to function but not eliminate the problem Fluffy > > Hi Fluff (can I call you Fluff)? Guest guest
Fluffy, thanks much for the useful info. I'm glad you are getting at least some help. I'm going to keep all this in mind as I go forward (whatever direction that may be. I guess I'll wait and see what the docs have to say.) patrickblue > > I find I really need to do ALL the BASIC things that nicholson said > > well, i am doing most of the basic things ...
