Steve, thanks for your comments.

Yes, MVP is a connective tissue abnormality.

A while back I searched Medline for articles

about MVP & connective tissues. Here are the

titles of some of the articles I found:

" Abnormalities in elastic fibers and other connective-

tissue components of floppy mitral valve "

" Mitral valve prolapse and joint hypermobility: evidence

for a systemic connective tissue abnormality? "

Another thing that might interest you... I happened to

come across an herbal website that says if you take

horsetail for a prolonged time, supplement thiamin

(vitamin B-1) in your diet because horsetail interferes

with thiamin absorption. Avoid taking the thiamin at

the same time as horsetail.
