Care and support for 'AIDS orphans' in India

Hi,

I work for the World Bank and I am working on a study - Care and Support for

AIDS Orphans with a focus on India.

I am looking for papers on AIDS orphans in India - government policies, safety

nets, current measures, best practices, etc. I would also appreciate advice on

what strategies India would benefit from in terms of setting up/preparing for

the orphan crisis to come - community care, fostering, institutionalization?

Is there information on the cultural and social norms which would guide these

decisions and arrangements? Grateful for any suggestions you may have.
