Guest guest
I may make 2 recommendations: use activated charcoal to adsorb yeast die-off and check for low thyroid function: http://www.wilsonssyndrome.com There is a simple thermometer test to follow for 3 days. Low thyroid may be creating a poor metabolism and favoring yeast. Gluten is not recommended for anyone in my practice. We are treating him right now for yet another yeast with Sporonex. He has the worst bottom I have ever seen on him. I feel so bad for him. As usual, I'm trying too many things at once. Could this terrible reaction be the Sporonex and the yeast die off or something to do with all the gluten foods I've been giving him and the enzymes? Dr. Holmes said he would have major die off so I'm assuming it's that. My son had been on the diet for 19 months. I'm giving him some gluten everyday now and either mixing the enzymes right away or making sure I'm giving him 30 minutes prior to eating the food. He has been on them for six days. I don't see any changes. What might I see and when would it occur? My original question regarding yeast. If he has yeast problems but I keep him on the probiotics and enzymes, can he still eat foods with yeast in them? Thanks, Penny
