Dear friends and colleagues

For the past few days, e FORUM has been disabled due to

technical difficulties. My sincere apologies for the inconvenience

this might have caused you.

It appears that these technical difficulties were due to a malicious

cyber attack on the forum. I would expect all the people of good will

would condemn such attacks on an institution committed to rapid

dissemination of AIDS related information and communication in

India.

We have reasons to believe that the cyber attack was originated or

the attackers have used the domain name bamon.org. All the e-mail ids

originating from this domain has been removed from the mailing list

as a precaution. The legal consultant of Bamon.org, Mr. Aditya

Bondyopadhyay has informed us that the threat from bamon.org has been

contained.

Thanks to the prompt attention of the help desk, I am glad we

are back on your screen without much damage to the data and with out

much delay. The posting has been resumed from today.
