Guest guest
Hi Jim! Well, I knew that one of our scientific types would come through for us! ...great post Rich--way to go! I would have to agree with Rich that I believe that you are going to find several different subgroups under the ME/FM umbrella. However, it is my opinion that, regardless of the cause, I believe that many people (in fact, perhaps a majority) will be helped by working on the digestive system. I also agree with Rich that your credentials are probably to your advantage, as many of the reseachers/specialists seem to be unable to think outside of the box to pull it all together. Jim, I would recommend that you take your theory (...is theory okay ....vs. hypothesis?) and post it over to the Usenet Group sci.med. There are a lot of reseachers/doctors over there who could look it over. If you do a search on my name, you will see that I had already brought to that group's attention the work of Dr. Les Simpson, Dr. Riccardo Baschetti and B12. (One doctor mocked me for B12--you can see that he prepared his response without even reading the abstract of the article that I cited! I didn't respond to him because he was rude. If he didn't delete his post you can take a look at it for yourself -- ...and smile! ;-) LOL I would also recommend that you take a look at Steve Emerson's posts--they were always very interesting. The only thing is that I have to warn you that some of those doctors on the sci.med newsgroup were quite antisocial (...remember they are doctors!). And you will find that some of them don't know what they are talking about--you'll be able to tell who is wearing no clothes! ;-) LOL ....so, go get 'em, Jim! :-) LOL Now, are you going to tell us about your protocol, or are we going to have to wait for Dr. Devin Starlanyl's new book to come out? ;-) LOL Kind regards, Trudy
