Guest guest
Just received Mark Konlee's latest " Positive Health News, #21 Fall Issue. A reader of that newsletter wrote the following regarding MGN3: " ...first batch she bought a few years ago had 3 different mushrooms plus an extract from rice bran thought to be IP6. Lane Labs did a study which showed it could triple NK cell function. But then Lane reformulated the product with only one of the original mushrooms--shitake. The name MGN3 was kept and product is thought to be less expensive to produce. According to this reader, Lane got in trouble with the FDA by citing research on the benefits of its original formula without doing a new study to determine if the revised formula could triple NK function. Two other readers confirmed that Lane had dropped two mushrooms. " My take on the above is that the revised formula may not be as effective as the original. But have not taken it myself.
