Guest guest
After reading so many good things about NAC I started taking it. After a couple weeks I saw a post that said it can pull mercury out of your fillings and you shouldn't take it if you still have amalgam fillings. So I stopped, but still had a minor relapse. I am back to normal now after a couple weeks off it, and for the first time in several weeks I don't taste metal in my mouth all the time. The NAC definitely coincided with this increased metal taste. Didn't have this effect from whey protein, and both NAC and whey protein increase glutathione, so I'm not sure why NAC is different, but be careful if you have metal fillings! I'm hoping to have mine gone soon! Cindi
