Antibiotics - results of those who have been off for awhile?

Last night I was reading an article on the BBC website about how antibiotics

were able to successfully reduce the symptoms of autism for a period of time,

but all patients had their symptoms return after they went off of the abx. I

do not remember all the details of the article now, such as how long they

were treated, etc., but I found it interesting since antibiotics are not

generally thought of as a treatment for autism. The story did lead me to the

question of how well people with CFIDS are doing AFTER being off of

antibiotics for awhile, and whether or not their symptoms have returned. I

know many on this list are on abx, but I have heard few reports of those who

took abx for a long time and then went off. I would be very interested to

know how those patients are doing. Any reports?
