Guest guest
Jo- You're an angel! Someone else was very kind and gave me the names of 2 of these tests, but was unable to give me the phone numbers. It saves me so much energy right now when I'm so weary from infections to not have to search for phone numbers. Thanks for the name of the 3rd test(Cytokine and Lymphocyte Panel at Imm. Lab). Didn't have this one. I'm trying to gather up the main immune system function tests and get a local doc to order them now before I get too far away from acute infectious period. Unfortunately don't have a doc yet who can really interpret the more complicated tests yet. I'm looking for a doc besides Cheney who could function as my primary doc and would understand these tests results. I'll check again with head of support group here in Tx.(the DFW group), but I've never found anyone in Texas who was that advanced. Always had to go to east coast(Cheney) or maybe west coast(Dr. Gordon??) if no one in Tx. If you have any ideas for a doc who's really up on the immunology end of CFIDS and might be willing to try the immune balancing txs. that Cheney has found effective, let me know. Cheney's approach just seems to fit me and haven't found any other that's effective for me. Know others have had different experiences. Need a doc who has a focus/expertise in immunology/CFIDS and flexible enough to be willing to allow me to try to follow general Cheney protocol. I know it's a tough combo, but I'll keep looking. Any input is GREATLY APPRECIATED-THANKS TO ALL THOSE WHO HAVE WRITTEN AND GIVEN INFO. TO ME!! I try to reciprocate when I might have helpful info. to others! You're the best!
