Guest guest
Do you take the Seacure in place of a meal or just as an add-on in between meals? I had a really difficult time with it - not sure if it was allergies or something else. The guy I spoke with at Proper Nutrition said that perhaps the Candida, or whatever critters I may have may be using the Seacure as their food source before it gets to do me any good - but I thought that was its purpose - to help heal the gut lining. I wonder if taking it with food would totally defeat its purpose, not all of which I have a good handle on. Any thoughts? I have an incredibly bad gut with no bowel function. Guest guest
Thanks guys, Your interpretation is the same as mine then. Food triggers - if it's a food, it's a trigger. I am pretty much allergic, or at least reactive, to pretty much everything I eat. I have about 80 foods in my allergy shots which I take daily just so I can have some foods to eat. I rotate my diet over 4 days, no sugar (but have been trying to eat a few blueberries - first fruit in 5 years - in my Ultimate Meal drink), no wheat, no dairy, no yeast, no caffeine, soda, alcohol.....for five years. Some pain still on occasion, but much better with supplemental animal enzymes and HCL with meals. Daily coffee enemas to keep the bloating and pain down, and stimulate the bile. Now doing olive leaf, milk thistle, and about to add artichoke extract if I don't react to it. I react to lots of herbs, more so than supplements, except anything sulfur based, including foods. I am better than five years ago, and do tolerate food better. Must eat like a horse to maintain any semblance of weight, although the quantity needed is somewhat less than before. I have eliminated the most offensive foods, as mentioned above, but if I eliminated them all, I would pretty much be eating beef 24/7. It was about the only thing i tolerated well. In fact, I tolerate meat protein better than any other food - which flies in the face of D'Adamo's Eat For Your Blood Type. (I'm an A). Love veggies, they pretty much all make me sick. I think it becomes a vicious cycle that gets very hard to get off - the worst foods make me the least sick, but they are the ones which are the worst for gut health. Makes me feel there's a big missing link greater than food proteins. But it may be the pesticide and mercury poisoning which set it all off the expected path. Donna in NC PS - That's great about the amalgam removal. Be careful and go slow. Don't be in a hurry to chelate too soon. Been there...done that...bad news. Let her body excrete what it will naturally before even thinking about chelation. Continued good luck and best wishes. Re: Desperatley need help finding more info on healing IBS & Leakey Gut > Hi Donna, > I would imagine that the folks at Proper Nutrition would have the best insight into your plight. My interpretation is that Seacure is " supplemental " to normal eating. Have you been able to determine if there are food triggers? Do you also have pain along with the poor functioning? Another idea is to find an alternative practitioner well versed in the use of Metagenics products and able to discern what the underlying problems are in your situation. What helped 's IBS the most was eliminating the offending foods, which were a good many. After two years she is better able to tolerate foods she could not tolerate in the past. But her gut function is not ideal in the least. Mark and > P.S. had her first of three amalgams removed today. No major ill effects. Dam and high suction used.
