Women’s Forum is willing to take the Income Generation Activity for it’s women’s member, under which we may to start candle making as our prior activity for IGP. We believe to have a bulk order for the candle. Those who are interested to buy the candle prepared by HIV positive women kindly contact us. To know us better below is the information about NMP+. About NMP+: NMP+ is a non-profit making community based organization of people living with HIV/AIDS, Register under the society registration Act to have more involvement of People Living with HIV/AIDS in a democratic way in the year June 2001. NMP+ is the state level network of, for and run by People Living with HIV/AIDS in Maharashtra. The organization aims to improve the quality of life of people living with HIV in Maharashtra and exists to provide sense of belonging and togetherness to people living with HIV. At present we have our volunteers working in the districts of Mumbai, Thane and Pune to work for people living with HIV so as to develop their self-esteem and to support their affected families. The membership is open to all people living with HIV in the jurisdiction of the state of Maharashtra, irrespective of gender, caste, religion etc. The confidentiality of members is ensured by NMP+. NMP+ is affiliated to Indian Network for People Living with HIV/AIDS (INP+). NMP+ is also having its body of Women & Child Forum, working for the HIV positive women & Child. Ideology: Ours is the movement and we believe all PLHAs are equal. We work for the social acceptance of PLHA who are the part of the solution and the center of the epidemic. We respect the self-esteem of PLHA and believe in co-working culture. Women & Child Forum: Women & Child Forum is the body of NMP+ working with hand in hand for the cause of Women & Children living with HIV/AIDS. {WCLH/A}, specially concentrating on issue affecting them. Why it is: We feel Women are more vulnerable for HIV/AIDS. We also need information on life after HIV is also needed for HIV positive Women as a HIV positive we have certain issue which can we dealt only in a women group.
