Dear Friends,

Thanks for the info on the Bankok AIDS conference. Somehow with so much hype and

emphasis on condom promosom exclusively leaving aside other approaches, I

believe it is important to present the other side of the picture. I hope there

would be opportunities for the same. It just may be the smae people attending

the connference for the nth time and probably say the same thing and move

without impacting HIV/AIDS.

Has anyone measured the cost effectiveness of the various conferences?

Thanks for the mail . The following are my suggestions :

Workshop mode inputs on : cost per patient (affected & infected ) for OI drugs

in developing countries.

Focus on children and women specialy of developing countries.

For greater representation from India it is important to support with partial

scholarships to individuals with field based experiences .
