Guest guest
Just be sure you check with your Rheum before mixing sulfur with any of present meds you are taking. Betty
Guest guest
Vickie, Prevention Magazine (Aug issue) just had an article about it (and my mom saw " some famous person " on TV saying how it had really made a big difference in his arthritis. It is methylsulfonylmethane...a sulfur containing compound. In theory, MSM reduces inflammation by increasing the effectiveness of cortisol, which is the body's own natural inflammation fighter. In one study 80% of those taking 2,250 mg a day experienced significant pain reduction compared to only 16% of those taking a placebo. Sounds interesting....wondering whether I should try it. Guest guest
Thanks, Betty...that's a good piece of advice....I do consider herbs and vitamins a type of medication....just usually safer.....but I will ask my doctor is it will conflict with anything. Guest guest
I use MSM. I use it for my fibromyalgia. I haven't noticed a difference in the candida since taking it though.

Guest guest
Methylsulfonyl-methane (MSM) is a supplement recommended for a variety of symptoms. Here is Kirkman's link http://www.kirkmanlabs.com/products/articles/msm.htm . > Could someone tell me what MSM is? I keep seeing references to it but > don't know what it is. A supplement?
