Guest guest
Hello, I started the Imunovir as per Cheney's new protocol on Wednesday. The first three days were okay, but today (Saturday), I am feeling kind of rocky--flulike symptoms. Is this normal? The new Cheney protocol, according to Bill Chick at Rivex Pharma in Toronto, is six per day for five days, then two per day for two days. This cycle is repeated for a period of two months, and then stop for two weeks to see if there is fallback. The price for three bottles (100 tablets per bottle ) was $150 . It was easy to make contact with him because he has an 800 number: 800-784-0975, extension 242. And you send him the prescription by fax to: 800-784-0976. I thought I would include the information because some are getting their prescriptions from Ireland. Guest guest
Steve, I had flu-like symptoms when I first started taking Isoprinosine, including nausea and dizziness and the ones you describe, but they did subside after a while. From what I remember, it took a couple of weeks. I think it is one of the only things I have taken where I might have had a true herx reaction -- I actually did go back to status quo after feeling worse temporarily. Guest guest
Hi Steve. I would also like a little more information on Cheney's new protcol. It is now 6 tablets 5 days a week, 2 tablets 2 days a week, right? Is it still 2 months on one month off then repeat? Does anyone know why he made the change? Thanks in advance. Guest guest
It is only 2 weeks off. Not 2 months. The changes was becasue the results over the last year were disapointing. Guest guest
Tom, Yes, that is the new protocol. According to Bill Chick at Rivex Pharma, he talked with Dr. Cheney extensively, and Dr. Cheney was finding this new protocol more effective. I will have to check with Bill Chick in regard to the one month off. All that he said was that I should wait about two weeks to see if there is fallback. I assume from this comment, that I would start again after only two weeks off if there is fallback. But if there is no fallback, he didn't say when to start again.
