Guest guest
First, I will be just as broke whether anyone buys this stuff or not. I just found something that works for me and am passing the word. Second, as far as I know all the evidence for the effectiveness is anecdodtal. The fellow that has the dynamune site has a degree in microbiology (or something related) and talks about molecules he calls " immunosaccharides " . A group of related compounds that have stimulating effects on the immune system. As usual with supplements that can't be patented, nobody is funding research to prove the effectiveness of this product, though there is research about related compounds. That is how he got interested in this algae in the first place. Third, I don't think there have been any tests for Mercury on this product. You can call and ask Mike, the guy at dynamune, but he is a pretty small operator and I doubt if he has gotten any testing done. The mercury level should be pretty low just because the organisms are low on the food chain. The dangerous food I have heard about are carnivores (like tuna) who concentrate the mercury in their tissues from eating smaller fish. If I remember correctly the algae is harvested off the coast of California. For more specific info give Mike a call, the number is on his website.
