------------------------

I would like to put it on record somewhere that I had symptoms that sound

like fms till i was about 40 years old. No diagnosis in those days 25 years

ago. I was pretty desparate and considered attacking a bee hive to get

stung, as beesting is supposed to be good for reumatism. Risky though, so

when I read that nettle stings are also good for rheumatism I ran for the

nearest nettle patch and got myself stung. Three treatments and I was

without pain. Pain came back a bit during the winter, but was gone with the

first spring nettle stings.

I've suggested this treatment to my daughter but she gets a bad rash from

nettle stings so she hasn't tried. Nettle stings don't bother me -

specially nowadays of course!

Where can I put this on record? It might help someone else, or the

researchers?

I don't have pain anymore but I do have a sort of dizziness that I used to

call " being not here " . I accepted that this was psychological, but now I

wonder. I have learnt to cope with this more or less but it is no fun.

all the best,

Anne
