Guest guest
Just thought I would post on this for general interest. I just finished reading Barry Sears latest Zone book " The Omega Zone Rx " I'll tell you, this guy has got the $$$ all figured out (Zone this, and Zone that) At any rate, he does seem to have something important to say here. Apparently, there are new manufacturing methods for fish oil, which up its potency, while limiting past downsides, like gastro-intestinal upset, among others. I think this might be similar to the new manufacturing methods for Whey Proteins (like Imuplus, Immunocal, etc.), which too increase their health benefits above the previous grades of Whey Proteins. Through using this new " pharmaceutical grade " fish oil, it may be possible to have a more positive impact on diseases of the immune, and nervous systems (CFS?) than it has been in the past. In his book, Mr. Sears goes into some biochemical detail about how this all works in the body, in combination with limiting Omega 6 fatty acid consumption, and controlling insulin response (the subject of many of his other Zone books). His aurgument is compelling. I think he may have something of use to say here. I just thought I would throw it out. If this prove true, then undoubtly there will be even further purification methods of fish oil developed in the future, which could bring even further healing potentcy, perhaps a good thing for damaged CFS immune/nervous systems.
