Guest guest
I am wondering why we don't hear more about these kep products using Sodium Alginate that have a history of detoxing metals and radiation. That seems strange, given all the problems people have with chlorella and other chelators. Does anybody have experience with these substances? Pro-Algen is from Nordic Naturals. I eat raw kelp, Wakame is the easiest to chew, and I feel good right away ususally.
Guest guest
Hi , My wife (healthy) and I (PWC) had amalgrams out this past January. I was taking chlorella at the time. A few months later my Holistic MD recommended Pro-Algen for mercury detox. He said that it binds to 100% of mercury while chlorella binds 60-70%, and that it was used at Chernobyl for detox. He was not selling the product so I believe it was an unbiased suggestion. My wife was sick for months after getting amalgrams out. She took chlorella inconsistently without apparent effect. After 2 days on Pro-Algen her lethargy cleared up and has not come back. I got sicker after getting amalgrams out, such that I feel chlorella was not very helpful. When I started the Pro-Algen I did not get as clear a result as my wife, but I felt something positive. I have since added NDF (similar to metal-free)and find that helps as long as I go slow. My experience suggests Pro-Algen does its job of binding gut mercury. We don't hear about alginates for CFS related mercury detox because: 1) The alginate vendors I have seen are not marketing to PWC, while chlorella vendors are (e.g. www.sunraysupply.com). 2) The CFS community naturally focuses on the leading CFS practitioners Cheney chief among them who recommend chlorella. Guest guest
, Thanks very much for this encouraging response. I just got some today so I will let you know. I will be comparing it to Modifilan, which was developed in Russian after Chernoble so it is the product of a collective scientific effort and might be a better product. I know they use as low heat as possible even though it is not raw. They have a very good web site, www.modifilan.com and you can call the owner and talk to him. He is Russian and knows the background of the product. Re: Alginates: Modifilan, Pro-Algen Hi , My wife (healthy) and I (PWC) had amalgrams out this past January. I was taking chlorella at the time.
