Carol,

Did you try NADH again because Cheney recommened it? What dose

does/did Cheney recommend?

Thanks,

Brad E.

was really talking about it. Didn't seem to do much for me then.

Hi Mike

Enada/NADH used to give me a little bit of energy

boost, and improved cognitive function.

I started with 5 mg/per day- used to take it first

thing in the morning. I didn't see a great improvement

on this dosage. so I worked it up to 15 mg in the

morning.

I read in an article in Immunesupport that CFS

patients might require higher than normal dosage - for

eg- 15 to 20 mg to see noticeable benefits.

Now i feel that it is not helping much. So I want to

take a break for a couple of weeks and start on it

again.

NADH in the cell is created by adding an electron to NAD+. It is

produced during glycolysis and in the kreb cycle. It's function is

to carry electrons to the electron transport chain in the

mitochondria.

NADH taken as a supplement would be broken down in the stomach acid.

Taken as a supplement, I very much doubt that it can do what the NADH

inside the cell does. The presentation on the ENADA web site leads

you to the assumption that it does. Any benefit derived from taking

NADH could be from providing the raw ingredients or from the

electrons. If that is the case, there are better and less expensive

ways to get that.

If some of you would start experimenting with the program I've

suggested I know that you would get better. And you would be

instrumental in helping direct the experts to the right path. There

will never be a drug that will help FMS/CFIDS. And since one will

not be found, all you will get from your Dr. are medications to

alleviate symptoms. The good news is that drugs are not needed to

reverse symptoms of the condition.

All the best,

Jim
