Is police has the authority to send people for HIV Test?

I would like to share some doubts with the forum

members regarding HIV screening and inviting responses

1. whether the Circle inspctor of Police/ District

judge/ the Supredintant of District jail has the

authority to send persons under their custody for HIV

screeing.

2. Whether Sports Authority of India can demand HIV

screeing results for admiting students/ sports

personnel under their sponsorship program.

I woluld like to get information regarding the above

said issues.
