Do I Have Shingles?

Hi All.

I recently had some sores in my mouth which my doctor said were caused

by a virus but didn't want to investigate further. He did tell me to

take L-lysine and another supplement.

Then last night the skin on my left forearm became red and

itchy/prickly. This morning my arm feels a little numb and weak and

fatigued.

Does this sound like shingles? If it is what's the best treatment for

it?
