Jean Hello I'm on my 3rd try w/abx, as have had positive PCR for Mycoplasma Pneumonia & have C. Pneumonia antibodies. The 1st two times I made it to about ~3 months, worsening steadily (unfortunately) - stopped abx - but then rebounded at a bit higher functioning than before starting the abx (was able to stand longer and use the electric scooter more on " good " days). I'm almost 2 months in now (w/the 3rd try) - have worsened again as before - but am going to try to make it to a semi-arbitrary/reasonable 6 months, as there have have apparently been cases of 2 to 5 years on abx, with attributions of improvement. All 3 times I've gone thru recurrent/multiple Herx rx, which some seem to believe that that means the abx are working - but it's unclear (in the research) whether that's really an indicative correlation and/or that there'll ultimately be improvement I think the hope w/abx is to partially address the cormodity and co-debilitation that bacterial infections might bring to this disease. I wish I had better news - it's just something I'm giving a go at - with hopes of moderate improvement Lance
Guest guest
Hi Lance, I'm curious, which antibiotics are you using? And are you rotating them? penny > > Hi, I've had CFIDS/FMS for about 3 years, and I'm currently > > researching bacterial causes for this illness.
