Udaan trust district Level Office Inagurated in Thane

Dear friends,

We successfully inaugurated the Fifth District Level office at Thane, yesterday.

The Health Minister could not come due to some emergency meeting.

However, we were more than happy to get the office inaugurated by one of the

senior most PLHA activist, Mr. Ashay Kurnurkar, who has always strived to

improve the quality of life of People Living with HIV/AIDS, at all levels.

The function later on followed by facilitating Dilip Vichare, General Secretary

of Udaan, for his active role in the growth of Udaan-Pune District work, Ms.

Sonu Katreja, & Ms. Pratima Members-Soudamini Group, for their hardwork for

Udaan in a very short period of time and Ms. Ujwala Deshmukh, Director-Soudamini

Group and Jt. Secretary of Udaan Trust for making the Soudamini Group a big

success.

Functionaries and members from other NGOs, CBOs, HCPs, Independent Consultants

were present and also representative from Avert Society, graced the occasion.

PLHAs from Mumbai, Thane and Pune were happy to be part of this Expansion

/inaugurations programme and jointly took the oath of contuning this hard work

throughout for PLHAs. The function concluded with vote of thanks from the Vice

President of the organization, Vijay Nair.
