Guest guest
Gayathri, Read my post on Reactive Hypoglycaemia & ME sent today - trembling hands is a symptom of this. You will need to have a glucose tolerance test to prove this or not - see the attached webpage for info on this. http://www.webplace.ca/hg/5hrtst.html Rgds Andy > Hi Gayathri, > > I have been doing a little more studying on this trembling hands. Guest guest
Thanks Andy and Trudy and others who replied on this thread. I talked to my neurologist- he found my adrenals(by doing muscle testing) very weak and wanted to take some adrenal glandulars and see if that helps with my extreme weakness, anxiety and shaking etc. Trudy, I read your post where you mentioned that juicing made you feel worse. I had a big crash this year in March- yet to recover from that.. I have never felt this weak in my entire 13 years of this illness. I think it might be due to the juicing I incorporated and raw vegetable diet. I felt hungry all the time, was losing weight and just crashed terribly. I was juicing mainly vegetables with carrots for just teh taste.. but these RH posts by Andy makes me think if that could be the reason I couldn't tolerate the vegetables and juices alone- i would have needed lots of protein, fat etc. Thanks guys take care Gayathri. > Gayathri, > > Read my post on Reactive Hypoglycaemia & ME sent today - trembling > hands is a symptom of this. Guest guest
Gayathri, Sorry to here you ar ein a bad spell. Hopefully there is a connection between your bad spell and juicing. If it is connected to RH then juicing is the equivalent of a 1001lb bomb! We just purchased a juicer the week before Sophies diagnosis and haven't used it since. Even good vegetables become bad when juiced. I have posted a webpage that gives you the good foods to eat - if you want to try it for a while and see how you get on. If you improve (even a little bit) you will know that it is at least agreeing with you. Good luck. Guest guest
Hi Gayathri, I sure hope that your adrenal supplements help you out. Did your doctor also test your thyroid? (If not, you might ask him to check that out the next time you see him.) That is interesting that you were not able to tolerate the juicing, either. It looks like we are both going on a similar diet. Gayathri, did you have problems with your gums bleeding? (...or was that someone else?) Sorry, I read the post but didn't have time to respond and can't find it now. I had a lot of problems with my gums bleeding. I have had a lot of success with this " Tom's of Maine " toothpaste with propolis and myrrh. I also add a few drops of Oil of Fennel and Tea Tree Oil when I brush. I also use these little plastic floss picks, along with doing regular flossing. My dental hygienist just commented on how nice my gums looked. What an improvement from a few years ago when I had severe gum disease. Kind regards, Trudy Hi Trudy- That is a GREAT idea about the fennel and tea tree oil....I never thought about adding stuff to my toothpaste!! That's so great that you have recovered so nicely from gum disease. I have noticed over the past year or so, I am really beginning to have some gum recession. I wonder if that is common with CFIDS?... Hmmmm.....I switched from Toms to Waleda toothpaste a while ago as the Waleda is flouride, harsh chemical and mint free (homeopathy). I too had some bleeding gum issues with the Toms and in my case, I think it was due to the SLS that they use in their products. I am SO sensitive to it and other preservatives that it limits so many products that I can safely use as it all adds up to the total load!
