Guest guest
Hi, I am wondering if anyone else deals with oralmotor sensory issues with their children. My 3 year old son gags/vomits from the site , smell, and textures of foods. This is very unpredictable, one day he likes something, the next day he gags on it. This was getting better for awhile, but has recently gotten worse. I did have to stop TMG because it caused hyperactivity and diahrrea ( was on DMG before that) and also lessened SNT because I am having touble hiding it in his beverages. Can supplements be helping with this problem? Does anyone have any suggestions about ways to desensitize this area? He does receive SI in OT, but aside from the nuk brush and an electric toothbrush, haven't rec'd any more suggestions. We went out to eat last night and upon just seeing/smelling my husbands dinner, he started gagging at the table. Occasionally it occurs to the point of vomiting. Need Help!
