Doctors rates for HIV+ deliveries !!

Dear friends,

Last week I met some docs who give obstetric services to HIV +ve women. Most

people do not entertain. Those who give services, some rates I have heard

are(for C section)- 40,000 Rs to 1 lakh. I was speechless.

Dear Forum,

This ref; Dr.Ashtekar Shyam's posting about doctors charging exorbitantly from

HIV+ people is indeed shocking.It is definitely criminal to seek " compensation "

from the marginalized people on some imaginary pretext of 'taking extra

precautions' Needs to be condemed in very strong words by all.
