Guest guest
Hi June, I am using about 40 mg a day.Plus about 7.5 mg of 7-Keto DHEA.I noticed that there is a relationship between the dryness of the skin / quality of the hair and the amount of DHEA body is producing. I am adjusting my dosage according to dryness of my skin and quality of my hair.If my skin gets too oily and my hair gets soft and straight that means I have too much DHEA,i must either decrease Pregnenolone or DHEA.I was on 40 mg. Pregnenolone for the last 6-8 months.About 2 months ago my skin started getting drier and my hair started getting unmanageable and dry,so I added some DHEA thinking that my adrenals are not being able to convert Pregnenolone into DHEA.I also thought that by adding 7-Keto I would decrease the load on my adrenals.(Saving some adrenal work for the conversion of Pregnenolone to DHEA).If you ask me why 7.5 mg,it is because 10 mg. make me irritable and nervous.Of course these are my personal opinions and experiences,I am not knowledgeable enough to give advises on this important subject of hormonal supplements. Thanks. Do you mind | my asking what dosage you use? I take 60mg a day, and up to 70mg on really | bad days. | Thanks, | June | >
