Dear Forum,

The Catholic Church needs to be educated about the way in which

window periods affect the accuracy of pre marital information such

as an individual test result reveals.

False senses of security and international protocols need to also

be considered before legislation is mandated.

Would it be possible for an uninfected partner who became infected

despite a negative test result before marriage to sue the Church

for giving a false sense of security related to the HIV status of

either partner.
