Cases of breach of confidentiality of Children by AIDS NGOs

Dear Friends,

My name is Asha. I am person living with HIV and vice president of PWN+.

I protest and condemn taken photograph of child and telecast in the Vijay

TV with out her mother concern.

Now this is became practices in all over India NGOs and others are exploiting

PLWHAs for their own benefits. This year world AIDS Day in BANGALORE, KARNATAKA

STATE one of the NGO organized media and published PLWHAs faces.

Later the PLWHAs who were involved in the function orally complained to me,

that they are not happy and not willing to appear in the TV. I don't understand

why these agencies exploitng PLWHAS for their benefits. This NGO is not discused

about the program with local PLWHAs network.

We are waiting written complaint, from the participants, once we get the

complaint we will take action.
