An international collaborative HIV/AIDS prevention and control project funded by

the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Scaling Up HIV/AIDS Prevention in

Karnataka

The University of Manitoba in collaboration with the Karnataka State AIDS

Prevention Society is implementing a large project to scale up HIV/AIDS

Prevention in the state of Karnataka. We are looking for excellent candidates

for various administrative positions with the project.

1. FINANCE OFFICER

2. ACCOUNTANTS

3. PAYROLL OFFICERS

4. ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICERS

Responsibilities of the Finance Officer include budgeting, setting up systems

and overall responsibility of project related finances. Accountants would be

responsible for handling daily cash disbursement and data entry. The Payroll

Officer will be responsible for all salary related formalities including PF,

insurance and taxation,

Responsibilities of Administrative officers include general office management

and administration, super vision and co-ordination of office and logistics

support to the technical staff.

PROFILE OF CANDIDATES: The Finance Officer should be a qualified CA/CFA with a

post-graduate degree in finance or related discipline. The Accountant should be

a commerce graduate. The Payroll Officer should be a postgraduate in commerce /

law. The Administrative Officer should be a graduate/Post graduate.

All above administrative positions need at least five years of relevant

experience.For all above positions applicants must posses excellent

communication and computer skills. Fluency in Kannada and English is strongly

preferred. The positions are based in Karnataka. Salary and benefits will be
