Dear all,

You might have already heard, and possibly you have already been approached

by someone else from Human Rights Law Network (HRLN) or India Centre for

Human Rights & Law (ICHRL) regarding this.

We have filed a public interest petition in the Supreme Court of India, for

primarily, the provision of ARV drugs in government hospitals to all

positive persons free of cost, and for all the other related reliefs like

creation of infrastructure, training of medical and para medical personnel,

lowering of ARV drug prices etc.

As part of our efforts to strengthen the PIL, we are planning a national

consultation on the isssue of ARV treatment in government hospitals

to compile further information towards this issue..

Please contact us if you can provide any information about any existing

documentation, study etc. to support this case, especially for efficacy and

cost-effectiveness of the ARV drugs, based on Indian or international

experiencess. Also, please let us know if you would like to participate

in the consultation in any capacity.

Kindly also let us know if you have any suggestion or if you can help in the

case in any other manner.

We hope to hear from you soon.

Please also feel free to send your suggestions and/or address queries if

any.

Warm Regards,

Shruti Pandey,
