Sexual Health Resource Centre (SHRC) has been set up to ensure that the States

of Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, West Bengal and Orissa are better equipped

to deliver effective and informed sexual health programmes. In order to achieve

this, the resource centre works towards strengthening the State AIDS Control

Societies, State level institutions working in HIV/AIDS and the national/state

level consultants in the field of HIV/AIDS and related areas. It also provides

technical assistance to State AIDS Control Society on strategy and programme

development and disseminates information to policy makers and programme staff.

SHRC is currently looking for 2 Technical Officers.

The candidate should have more than 3 years of experience in the area of

HIV/AIDS. Experience in programme management would be preferred. He/she would be

required to facilitate and coordinate various activities relating to HIV/AIDS

programmes in the 5 States, collaborate and meet with State AIDS Control

Societies, National AIDS Control Organisation, Research Agencies and

Consultants. The candidate would also be required to proactively participate in

strategizing, planning and budgeting and also provide support in organizational

decision-making.

The job would involve considerable travel.

Qualifications and experience: The incumbents should have a Masters degree in

any of the following-Social work/Statistics/ Social Science or a degree in

Public Health or medical qualification (MBBS) or degree in Management.

The positions are Delhi based and are for a period of one year. Salary is
